A Breakout Session with Brian Butler

In today's shifting cultural landscape, parents, catechists and youth leaders are challenged with the task of cutting through a fog of relativism to express the beauty and truth of God's plan for love and sexuality to their teens. Often, Catholic teens suffer confusion due to their impressionable nature, their overly digitized, sexualized relational environment, and their good desire to be kind and accepting of others. As we help teens face questions of gender identity, pornography, homosexuality, and many other topics, the Theology of the Body can be a key that unlocks a new horizon of hope and freedom. But how can we help teens lift their eyes from their screens to their Savior for the answers? Brian will offer five practical ways to reach the ever-shifting teen demographic with the beauty of St. John Paul II's proclamation of the "gospel of the body" and our call to authentic love.
