Rev. Msgr. J. Brian Bransfield
Rev. Msgr. J. Brian Bransfield serves as General Secretary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He was ordained as a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 21, 1994. Prior to his service at the USCCB, Msgr. Bransfield served as a Professor of Moral Theology on the faculty of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia. He has also served in parish ministry, and as a high-school faculty member teaching freshman and senior theology. He is an adjunct Instructor at School of Canon Law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He is the author of a number of books, articles, and publications.
